This is what I've been up to lately...besides saving a baby mouse and making our home look festive for Christmas. I borrowed Bailey Searle's little apron and made a pattern for it...then went to work! How cute are these little apron smocks?! Of course, the lovely Isabella is modeling hers for me. And they're completely reversible so if one side gets too stained, flip it! I figure all my girls can wear them for art projects, helping in the kitchen (which they LOVE to do), and eating sloppy foods (since they won't wear bibs)Although, they're so cute, I don't know that I want to see them get stained!!! Sometimes we just have to let things go... They're actually cute enough to wear with a tee underneath with jeans... maybe I'm on to something! I have to say though, it wasn't my idea---saw how darling and practical it was on Bailey and I also saw a similar one on mayfly.com. I kind of went all crazy with the pockets all embellished and cutesy. Now, I just have to figure out how to adapt the pattern for big people! I want one!

Hey crazy girl!!! Where in the he** do you find the time? You were made to be the mom of many-that's for sure! I LOVE them. It kind of makes me wish I had a little bugger-butt to put one on. Kind of.
After Christmas they'll have 2!!! The ones I made for them are a totally different made up pattern and different colors too.
Yours are darling!!
I was going to say the same thing...Where in the world do you find time to sew?! I can sew to some extent, but it really brings out my potty mouth b/c I don't enjoy it...I just want the end result without all of the work! Very cute apron...good job!
Seriously so cute! I'll have to make a few! That would be a great homemade gift for nieces and nephews. Thanks for the idea Shay!
Me too. I would love to get that pattern..I don't really know how to sew, but I've been more willing to try things lately and would love to teach myself. BTW, do you ever get any sleep?
Shayla, I made this same dress for you, with bloomers, when you were a baby. Your's was white eyelet - I still have the pattern! Interesting what comes around and goes around.
Very cute - can you duplicate the pattern and send me one?? I'm not the seamstress, but I can do basic stuff!
You are so talented! It is adorable and Izzy is too!
