Things they can't do without

I was thinking about the little girls' daily routines and how there are certain things that Lexie & Izzie must have for their world to seem right...or we have a battle on our hands! I started to list those things for all the kids.

So I asked each of them to see if I was right-on. I was....except for they began with naming the gospel, prayer, Christ, & Book of Mormon, health, family, etc. I had to bring them DOWN to the light-hearted matters....I was so thankful for that! It was one of those moments when I felt as if we just may be succeeding as parents of six! That feeling quickly ended when an argument broke out and one of the kids 'stabbed' the other with a freshly sharpened pencil...nice!

This is not meant to be a Thanksgiving post--just a window into the 'things' that make our 'worlds' seem right---(the spiritual and weightier matters are all givens for each of us... duh!!)

as I locate pictures on my hard drive I'll add them to the post! Like anyone cared anyway! This is really for my 'blog book' that I will eventually make...

I loved reading all about you family! This will be so much fun to have in a book someday...do you know what program you are going to use? I have looked in to one, but it wasn't that great.

My favorite part was the stabbing of the eye! J/K I hope they are okay! Reading this just made me smile. Kids are so predictable, and Curt's armchair, Ha! P.S. Rob said Monson gave the best prayer tonight, "Please bless that we won't Yell in the church!" Rob loves that kid.

Carrie...try www.blurb.com I uploaded my blog to their site and they have so many options for blogger layouts. I'll eventually get to it!
Rach...we've been teaching our kids to break out of the normal 'recited' prayer-this is what Mons came up with-like we hear yelling every week in the church! I was chuckling too.
