Harbor Parade of Lights

Sunday eve we joined the SD crowds to experience the parade of lights on the boats cruising the harbor. The kids had a blast playing around with the Searles, but the lights weren't at all fantastic... Next year we'll head to Newport Beach's parade of lights for a real show! We were in good company and the kids were happy, so parents were happy...the end. And since we're not sending out a lovely Christmas card this year, this photo in front of the massive tree made of poinsettias will have to suffice. Wow, they're really all ours!

At least you got cute pictures out of it (even though the lights weren't great)! That is a huge tree -- great family picture.

I am very disappointed about the card...I was so looking forward to it. Come on Shay, you really don't need to sleep at all, you know! Where are your priorities?!?
PS-the cards got deleted from my to do list as well. Next year for sure when I have an income!

We're not sending out cards this year either.
Sounds like a fun excursion & pretty neat poinsettia tree. I'll bet there are some nicely lit homes in your neighborhood. I remember the Christmas light drives...fun times:)

Thank you for joining me in the "NO CARD" ban this year. I just don't wanna do it! I figure people can just look at my blog, right? Really it was because I didn't have a family picture that I didn't look totally chubby in. Looks like you had a good time!

I say the same thing with 1/2 the children you have. I can't believe I have 3 kids! Love the family picture...you have a BEAUTIFUL family!

We did a card but only because Rosie requires her 2 year pictures in November and so I threw Serra in with her for one. There is no way I would put myself in one this year. WAY to chubby. I also assign the letter part to my husband. Start early next year and get one out for T-day like you have in years past. We all love your family pictures. Always beautiful.
