Christmas Stories

Curt has always been the 'story-teller' in the family. I have memories of him reading to Brayden while rocking him when he was a little bean at 3 days old! Most nights in December Curt will read a Christmas story to the kids. Our favorite one is "I Believe in Santa Claus." It compares Santa Claus to Christ and just gets one to think about Santa in a different light...after that, how can one NOT believe!!??!! On another note, Isabella always finds something to dance about and does her thing--- merrily. LOVE HER!

What a treasured Christmas memory your kids will have. I LOVE that! And...I love Izzie's dancing too. What a doll.

That is such a great thing to do. I remember my parents doing the same with us. To this day I still love it when my dad reads us the stories!

We need to do that with our kids! We always read on Christmas Eve the story of Jesus' birth, but we need to read each night. I am so tired by the end of the day that I just want the kids in bed! I always loved listening to my dad's deep voice read on Christmas Eve...such a good memory!

Now you need to post the story you referred to so we can add it to our "24 Days Before Christmas" story notebooks.
