We had hilly streets in San Elijo Hills...not really conducive to the novice bike-rider. Now that we're on 'stable' ground, she's two-wheelin' it around town.
She was sick of waiting for someone to help her. So she took it into her own hands and strapped on her gear & headed out to teach herself. Her favorite pass-time is now riding a two-wheeler.
She doesn't love soccer as much as we thought she would, but it was fun watching her strut around the field (#6) and stand with her arms folded waiting for who-knows-what. She was great at running after the ball, was always on the scene, in the right place at the right time, but mostly yielded to her teammates to go for the big kick--- a confidence thing, I suppose. She announced tonight after her last practice that she's DONE with soccer. Forever. {giggle giggle}.

Well, at least she got some long green socks out of this experience! She probably yielded to everyone so that she wouldn't get kicked in the face and break her pink bling bling glasses.
Does she have a bell on her bike - to warn pedestrians she coming through?

No, Curt doesn't stand a chance. Poor, lucky guy:) Lexie is adorable...Grace and Caroline would be riding right along with her; biking is their very favorite outdoor activity.
Well at least she's not in the outfield picking flowers like yours truly! I will most likely not be putting Grace into sports because I am afraid that she is like her mother!
She is a cutie! Lucky for you she is done with soccer. You don't need to waste your time if she doesn't love it.

That girl is adorable. Good for her for taking the initiative and learning to ride her bike on her own.

We had one that had to teach themself also! I guess we just can't do it all! I am soooo DONE with soccer also! Fun season but glad it is over! She is just too cute!
