Do you eat Cocka-Doodle-Noodle Soup at your home? Why not, it's extra cheap, it's super easy, it's loads of fun (it's packed with sodium-what kid doesn't love sodium?)...and with a name like that, who can resist? "Mom, for dinner, I want that cocka-doodle-noodle soup!" --Izzie
She could sell a lot more soup calling it her charming little name instead of its boring real name. Mmmm...mmmmm good.

O what a treat! I remember having those in my lunch in Elementary school. Today at our freezing cold track meet they were selling them....I was so tempted by the smell! What's wrong with a little extra sodium every once in a while??
Yeah, but we are too cheap for the cup kind. You are so nice! We do the square package. I'm so bad, even my BABY loves them. On weeks when I use too much cash with other things (like b-day presents) we have it like 3 nights!
Long noodle soup is our name. I think I will switch to yours. It's cooler.
that is so cute...I might have to start eating it now! Not.
You need to suggest this name to the maker - it would made such a cute advertising campaign!
That is so funny - I just started buying them recently and my kids love them - only 27 cents at Walmart - what a bargain!
Look at Miss Fancy Pants, buying her soup with its own built-in china.
We just get the lowly ramen. No dehydrated veggies for us deprived folks.
Nina even eats the noodles uncooked sometimes. Yup, apparently that water boiling step is too much for us.
You're making me gag a little.... I hate that stuff! But I seem to have an aversion to all kids of "college food"...mac-n-cheese, frozen burritos...maybe I was just in college too long!
We need to catch up. I'm gonna (try) to call soon.
Don't forget the MSG!
Good stuff, though. Still sustains me. My kids love it! They just call it noodles, even more boring than the real name.
Wayne, eating them dry makes them extra delish--this was a common snack in the RB amongst the dance major crowd. Open the wrapper, throw out the sodium packet (because you all know how health conscious I was and continue to be) and voila! A fine snack. Cheaper (and much healthier) than my other favorite lunch--A Grannie B cookie! That little Izzy is just too hilarious.
