I have always been blessed with loyal, wonderful, lifetime friends really from every phase and part of my life. What a fabulous blessing to have! Tuesday night after lots of plan-changes I met with two of my forever and greatest High-School friends, Cristy & Aimee. Another one of our friends, Amy, who lives right here in Carlsbad, was too ill to make it, and we missed seeing her! We had a great time catching up--I love it when you can pick up 17 years later as if no time has passed. It's fun to talk about our babies, husbands, careers, mommy-hood and 'real life' and reminesce about old times and how very far
we've come. Aimee is 32 weeks prego with twins, which will make four for her. She was put on bedrest that very day and because we met near her house in Poway, at her favorite little restaurant, we made it too enticing and she cheated a little bit and joined us! Cristy was visiting from Minneapolis with her hubby and two children. Hopefully her plan to make it to San Diego with her hubby's job will come true one day! I'm so thankful for all my true, lasting friendships!
And I didn't even notice until now while looking at our picture...but we apparently didn't miss a beat! We are wearing totally coordinating outfits--brown & turquoise--how funny!

I saw Aimee a few years ago at a birthday party for Lena's little one. Eric Renger's mom was there too. I remember Cristy having bigger hair in high school.
Isn't it great to see old friends. I recognize Aimee, but can't place her. Christy looks great. What a fun time for you!
Loved this blog. It was so great to see pictures of Aimee and Christy...I always wonder what has happened to people since high school. Maybe I'll see you at the 20 year reunion. Kinda scary that that's only 3 years away. By the way, I love your new hair cut...you look fabulous, as always.
