Hook Curt up to a diet coke IV, and he'd be in heaven. (DP once in a while for me, please). Yes, we go through a whole lot of soda pop in this household-- mostly, it's Curt's vice. So we recycle.
(Thanks to a few others... we recycle their addiction too).
We also found a way to also make use of the tab on the can.
Super cute.
Super fab.
Super stylish.
Super easy.
Anyone can do it... six-year-olds and sixth graders alike. Check 'em out. Add a pop of whimsy
aka tattered flower with oh, so delicious centers,
and you've got yourself a cheap, yet fabulous accessory.
It all started when we had to come up with a 100th day of school project for Alexandra. That is, 100 like-items displayed in a creative manner.
100 soda pop can tabs.
This necklace was my epiphany. I didn't make all of it up-- I just spiffed it up... shortened it, added the ties & flower. And I think it's simply awesome. The best part... it wasn't your typical waste of time project that ends up in the trash. This is a keeper.
Now it's hot to trot... and everyone who sees it wants to sport one. Kenz was on it as soon as she saw the result. Fun little business venture for my little ones? haha... you never know.
The 2nd one was even better & more polished than the first. We chose fabric for the ties only because
I {love} fabric and didn't have fabulous coordinating ribbon. Be amazed:
